Examination
1. Press the brake pedal several times. While holding the brake pedal, start the engine, the brake pedal should "go down. After two minutes, turn off the engine. Press the brake pedal. With each successive pressing, the pedal will become "harder", and the pedal travel should decrease.
2. Otherwise, check the brake booster check valve (see below).
3. If abnormal operation of the vacuum booster is still observed, then it should be replaced.
Removing Models with ABS
4. Remove the ABS valve block.
5. Remove the clutch master cylinder (Chapter 6).
6. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster.
7. Remove the lower facings from the driver's side, disconnect the brake pedal spring, unpin and remove the pedal axle.
8. Turn away nuts from salon (top left and bottom right) and remove the vacuum booster by removing it from the engine compartment.
Models without ABS
9. Remove the brake master cylinder.
10. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster.
11. Remove the fuse panel bracket, disconnect the connectors on the bracket.
12. Turn away nuts of unions and remove lines of a hydrodrive of brakes interfering with removal of the vacuum booster.
13. Remove the lower facings from the driver's side, disconnect the brake pedal spring, unpin and remove the pedal axle.
14. Turn away nuts from salon (top left and bottom right) and remove the vacuum booster by removing it from the engine compartment.
15. Installation of the vacuum amplifier is carried out upside-down.
