1. Adjustment of the parking brake is necessary after replacing the rear brake discs/drums or pads.
2. Raise the rear of the vehicle.
3. To access the adjusting nut, remove the cover of the floor section and remove the cover (see photo).
4. Release the parking brake lever and unscrew the nut.
5. Press the brake pedal at least 5 times (on models with drum brakes - until the clicks of the regulator handwheel stop).
6. Raise and release the parking brake lever at least 5 times.
7. Raise the parking brake lever 3 clicks and tighten the adjusting nut until the rear wheels brake. Make sure the turning force is the same for both wheels.
8. Raise the parking brake lever all the way and make sure the wheels are securely locked. When the lever is released, the wheels must be completely released.
