Solenoid valve block
1. Remove the battery, battery tray and relay panel. Disconnect the connectors, unscrew the 3 nuts and remove the panel bracket.
2. Remove the valve block tubing holder.
3. Remove fluid from the brake reservoir.
4. Disconnect all tubes from the valve block and brake master cylinder. Plug the holes in the valve block.
5. Disconnect the connector on the valve block by lifting the bracket (see photo).
6. Turn away bolts and remove the block, without breaking its original position.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Remove air from the brake hydraulic drive.
Wheel speed sensor
8. The sensor is built into the wheel hubs. If the sensor is defective, the hub must be replaced.
Wheel traction control switch
9. The sensor is installed on the dashboard in the cabin. Pry up and remove the sensor.
ABS Processing Unit
10. Remove the valve block. Unscrew the bolts and remove the processor unit by disconnecting the wire, taking care not to damage the coil holder. Remove the seal from the spool holder.
11. When installing the unit, do not allow it to be tilted. If, when tightening the bolts, increased resistance begins to be felt, this means that the processor unit is out of order and should be replaced. On some cars, the processor unit is mounted on a band spring, which should also be taken into account when tightening the bolts.
