1. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum booster and from the intake manifold.
2. Check the condition of the valve, which should blow freely in one direction only. Otherwise, replace the valve by cutting off the hose. When installing a new valve, attach a new hose to it, the length of which is equal to the cut off part.
