Booster Vacuum Hose and One-Way Valve — Replacement (Opel Omega A)

            0

1. On a new car, the vacuum hose is stretched on the one-way valve using high temperature, so when replacing the valve, you need to install a normal vacuum hose using clamps to fix it. From now on, the hose and valve can be replaced separately.

2. Unscrew the nut of the hose connection coupling on the intake manifold.

3. Pull or pry the elbow connector off the servo motor.

4. Release the hose from the plastic straps.

5. Cut the hose from the one-way valve, elbow pipe and intake manifold connection.

6. Cut a piece of new hose to the appropriate length and connect to the one-way valve, elbow and union using clamps. Make sure the arrows on the valve point to the intake manifold.

7. Press the elbow into the booster sealing rubber ring and tighten the union nut onto the intake manifold. Install new plastic straps.
