1. On a new car, the vacuum hose is pulled over the one-way valve using heat, so when replacing the valve, it is necessary to install a regular vacuum hose using clips to secure it. From now on, the hose and valve can be replaced separately.
2. Loosen the hose coupling nut on the intake manifold.
3. Pull out or lever out the elbow connector from the servomotor.
4. Release the hose from the plastic straps.
5. Cut the hose from the one-way valve, elbow, and intake manifold connection.
6. Cut a piece of new hose to the appropriate length and connect to the one-way valve, elbow, and connection using shackles. Make sure the arrows on the valve point towards the intake manifold.
7. Press the elbow into the booster rubber seal and tighten the union nut onto the intake manifold. Install new plastic belts.
