Electronic ABS control unit — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. With the ignition off, disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Inside the vehicle, remove the trim panel on the left side of the passenger footwell.

3. Pull the hood release lever, then unfasten the electronic control unit from the installation.

4. Disconnect the multi-pin electrical connector and remove the unit.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check that the ABS warning light goes out after the engine starts.
