Note: When replacing the control unit, reset the data using the TECH2 device before dismantling.
Disconnect the battery clamps.
Release and disconnect the harness connector 1 and 3.
Press the locking tabs 2 outward and pull the gearbox control unit forward.
Note: Differently calibrated gearbox control units are used depending on the engine and gearbox variant. When replacing the gearbox control unit, use a corresponding new unit. It is ordered from the service center.
Secure the gearbox control unit to the holder.
Insert and secure the 2 wire harness connectors.
Connect the battery clamps.
Program volatile memory devices.
Note: When replacing the control unit, after installing the control unit, execute the corresponding program using the device.
