Remove the center console.
Remove the gear shift lever assembly.
Unfasten the automatic console unit insert (arrows) and pull it up.
Remove the bulbs with the socket from the automatic console unit insert.
Remove the bulbs from the socket.
Disconnect the gear shift actuator wiring harness from the wiring harness holder 3.
Disconnect cable clamp 2.
Disconnect the ground wire from the grounding terminal block (arrow).
Disconnect the wire with the spring contact of the pushbutton switch of the "economy/sport" modes from the wiring harness (contact 2 in connector X51) and a push-button switch for the winter program (contacts 3, 4 and 5 in connector X51) using the MKM-923-22 device.
Note: Pay attention to the order of wire distribution.
Disconnect the wire connector 4 of the magnetic switch of the gear shift lever locking device 5.
Disconnect harness connector 1 from the gear shift lever assembly and remove the gear shift drive harness.
Connect the wire connector 1 of the magnetic switch of the gear shift lever 2.
Press the spring-loaded wire into the pushbutton switch for the "economy/sport" mode (contact 2 in connector X51) and a push-button switch for the winter program (contacts 3, 4 and 5 of connector X51) into the wiring harness connector.
Note: Pay attention to the order of wire distribution.
Secure the wire harness connector to the gear shift lever assembly.
Connect the ground wire to the ground distribution block.
Secure the bulbs with the socket into the automatic console unit insert.
Insert the bulbs into the socket.
Secure the automatic console unit insert.
Secure the gearshift actuator wiring harness to the wiring harness holder 5.
Secure the gearshift drive wiring harness with cable tie 4.
Install the gear shift lever assembly.
Install the middle console.
Check the safety functions of the gear shift lever.
