Gear Shift Lever Mounting Hanger — Removal and Installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Apply the handbrake. Jack up the front of the car and secure it on axle stands.

2. Above the propeller shaft, disconnect the gear shift rod from the gear shift lever by removing the spring clip and taking out the pin.

3. Remove the four bolts securing the gear shift lever to the suspension.

4. Unscrew the rear suspension mount from the bottom and the front one from the gearbox (photo).



5. Remove the holder suspension from under the car.

6. Unscrew and remove the rubber cushions. Check their condition and replace as necessary.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
