Removal and installation the gear shift lever (Opel Frontera A)

Removal

1. Loosen the screws.

2. Disconnect the handles from the shift and gear selector levers.

3. Unscrew the four mounting bolts.

4. Remove the gear shift lever rubber cover trim.

5. Remove the rubber cover from the floor opening and levers.

6. Remove the dust boot from the edge of the lever support plate.



7. Remove the three bolts in the center of the shift lever.

8. Now you can remove the lever.

Installation

The installation is performed as follows:

1. Lubricate the ball joint bearing with oil.

2. Insert the shift lever.

3. Place the support sheet.

4. Secure the shift lever with three bolts.

5. Other work is performed in the reverse order of removal.
