Removal and installation the gear selector lever (Opel Frontera A)

Removal

1. Disconnect the shift and gear selector lever handles.

2. Unscrew the four mounting bolts

3. Remove the gear shift lever rubber cover trim.

4. Remove the rubber cover from the floor opening and levers.

5. Unscrew the 2 gear selector lever mounting bolts and remove the lever.

Installation

The lever is installed in the reverse order of its removal.

6. Before installation, lubricate the ball joint bearing and gear selector lever support with oil.
