Removing
1. Remove the center console (see chapter Body), then move the selector lever to the position «P».
2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the mode switches and release the lamp socket from the indicator panel.
3. Gently prying with a screwdriver, separate the tip of the cable from the hinge of the lever. Slide the latch and release the cable from the support bracket in front of the lever.
4. Turn out four fixing screws and remove lever assembly.
5. Check the assembly for signs of wear and damage. Loosen the nut, remove the washer and remove the axle assembly. Release the indicator panel fasteners, separate the lever assembly with the support bracket. A more complete disassembly of the node is not possible.
Installation
1. If necessary, install a support bracket onto the arm assembly. Insert axle. Install the washer and tighten the fixing nut to the required torque. Attach the display panel to the support bracket. Before installing the lever on the car, check the correct functioning of the assembly.
2. Install the lever assembly in its regular place, connect the selector cable. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort.
3. Secure the selector cable with the retainer and connect the tip of the cable to the lever pivot.
4. After making sure that the harness is routed correctly, lay the wiring, install the pump cartridge on the indicator panel and restore the original wiring connection.
5. Adjust cable valley (see Section Gear selector adjustment), then reinstall the center console (see chapter Body).
