Adjusting the automatic transmission gear selector lever rod (Opel Vectra A)

Shift gear selector lever alternately to position "P", "R", "N", "D", "3", "2", "1".

Pull the button on the lever until it stops; the lever should lock into place.



If necessary, remove the gear selector lever cover from the body tunnel.

Move the gear selector lever to position "P".

Loosen nut 1 of the rod mount (see fig.C0212).

Press the lever all the way towards the radiator and lock it in place.

Tighten the nut to a torque of 6 Nm.
