            0

Raise and place the vehicle on stands or over an inspection pit.

Set the selector to position "P".

Press the selector cable ball joint upwards away from the shift shaft.

Switch the selector from position "P" to position "1". The drive should move easily. Otherwise, replace the cable.

Shift the selector to position "P". The parking lock should be engaged and the front wheels should not rotate.

In this position, the selector cable should be pressed into the shift shaft lever without any effort. If not, adjust the cable.

Move the selector to position "P".

Press the gearshift shaft to the rearmost position. The parking lock should engage.

Slightly loosen bolt 3 of the support at the gearbox. Move the support so that the cable can be freely pressed on the shift axis lever. In this position, tighten the bolt to a torque of 25 N·m.

Drive the car and check the selector operation. The engine can only be started in the selector position "P" and "N".

Turn on the ignition. When the vehicle is stationary, the selector should only be moved out of the "P" or "N" position when the brake pedal is simultaneously pressed.
