Adjusting the forced reverse shift cable (Opel Kadett E)

Disable the mechanism for adjusting the tension of the forced reverse shift cable using the hook (see photo).





Press the accelerator pedal all the way down.

If reverse shifting of the lower gear is difficult, move the sector of the adjustment mechanism by one tooth. It is prohibited to move the sector of the mechanism by more than two teeth.
