Adjustment
1. Having an assistant move the gearshift lever, make sure that the control lever on the transmission moves to the appropriate limiter. The "P" limiter is located at the front and, like the "N" limiter, has a mark, the other limiters are not marked (see illustration). Also make sure that when you move the lever to the "P" position, the special latch locks the wheels.

2. If adjustment is necessary, make sure the gear selector lever is in the "P" position, then release the drive mode selector panel (two staples on each side) from the central console and move it to the side (see illustration). Using a ring spanner inserted through the opening, loosen the cable clamp bolt.

3. While working in the engine compartment, move the transmission control lever all the way forward and to the right (that is, to the battery bracket), so that it rests against the limiter.
4. Have an assistant hold the control lever in this position and tighten the cable clamp bolt to the specified torque Specifications.
5. Install the drive mode selector panel and recheck the operation of the gear selector mechanism.
