1. Having an assistant move the gearshift lever, make sure that the control lever on the transmission moves to the appropriate limiter. The "P" limiter is located at the front and, like the "N" limiter, has a mark, the other limiters are not marked (see illustration). 3. While working in the engine compartment, move the transmission control lever all the way forward and to the right (that is, to the battery bracket), so that it rests against the limiter.
