Adjustment
1. After asking an assistant to move the shift lever, verify that the control lever on the transmission moves to the appropriate stop. limiter "R" located in front and like the limiter "N" has a label, other delimiters are not labeled (see illustration). Also make sure that when moving the lever to the position "R" a special latch blocks the wheels.
2. If adjustment is necessary, make sure the gear selector is in the "R", then undock the driving mode selection panel (two staples on each side) from the center console and move it to the side (see illustration). After inserting the ring wrench through the opening, loosen the cable clamp bolt.
3. Working in the engine compartment, move the transmission control lever fully forward and to the right (i.e. to the battery bracket), so that it hits the limiter.
4. Have an assistant hold the control lever in this position and tighten the cable clamp bolt to the specified torque specifications.
5. Install the driving mode select panel and recheck the operation of the gear select mechanism.
