Removing
1. Apply the handbrake and set the lever to the position "R".
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the clip and remove the washer, then disconnect the shift cable from the control lever on the transmission.
4. Turn off fixing nuts and remove an arm of a cable from transmission.
5. Working in the salon, unfasten the driving mode selection panel (two staples on each side) from the center console and remove the ashtray assembly. Move the rear of the center console (see Section 11), so that the lever panel can be removed. Make sure the handbrake is still applied and move the drive mode select lever to the "2".
6. Loosen the cable clamp bolt and unscrew the lock nut, then remove the cable from the central console and lead it into the engine compartment by removing the bulkhead sealing ring with a screwdriver.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Finally, adjust the cable length (see above).
