Downshift mechanism — removal and installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

Loosen the mat retainer located under the gas pedal and lift the mat. Disconnect the switch wiring (the wire goes to the central part of the dashboard) and unfasten the switch from the retainer.

Installation

When installing, insert the switch into place and connect the electrical wiring; push the switch into the locking mechanism until it stops, then check the adjustment (see above).
