2. Remove both drive shafts as described in Chapter 8.
3. Loosen the slider center coupling nut on the propeller shaft approximately one full turn.
4. Detach the exhaust system rubber mounts and lower the rear of the system approximately 300mm. Support or tie the system in this position.
5. Turn off a suspension bracket of the central bearing of a cardan shaft from the bottom.
6. Unscrew the flange of the rear part of the propeller shaft from the flexible connection of the drive, move the propeller shaft away from the connection. Support the propeller shaft on an axle stand.
7. Support the final drive mechanism with a jack.
8. Loosen only the bolts securing the rear plug to the final drive mechanism.
9. On models equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS), unscrew the speed sensor hangers on the back of the final drive mechanism.
10. Unscrew the rear muffler suspension from the bottom (photo).
11. Disconnect the rear high-pressure brake lines from the diagonal arms by pulling out the retaining clips.
12. Lower the final drive mechanism and the rear suspension cross member a few centimeters, then unscrew the bolts securing the rear stabilizer bar clips to the cross member. Turn the anti-roll bar up.
13. Remove the bolts of the front and rear mounting of the final drive from the top of the rear suspension cross member (photo).
14. Lower the final drive mechanism and get it from under the car. Unscrew and remove the rear muffler suspension and rubber connecting disc.
15. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, tighten all nuts and bolts with the tightening torque regulated specification. Install the drive shafts as described in Chapter 8. Check the oil level in the final drive mechanism as described in Chapter 2.
