Adjusting the gear shift cable system (AF13-II) (Opel Corsa C)

Checking the adjustment of the gear shift cable system

Move the gear shift lever sequentially to position P, R, N, D, 3, 2, 1.

While doing this, press the locking head.

Control lever 1 on the gearbox must be fixed accordingly: P 2, R, N, D, 3, 2, 1.

Unlock the locking clamp 3 on the gear shift cable system upwards.

Use a suitable screwdriver.

Move the gear shift lever to position "P".



By moving the gear shift lever forward and backward, without pressing the locking head, you need to ensure that the gear shift lever is correctly locked in the "P" position.

Turn control lever 1 on the gearbox until it stops 2.





Turn the front wheels until the latch engages in the parking brake wheel.

Secure the retaining clip 3 to the gear shift cable system.

Press down the locking clip.
