Instructions for checking the protective functions of the selector lever with automatic transmissions
Caution: After replacing electrical or mechanical components of the gear selector, the following checks must be performed to ensure that all safety functions of the gear selector are working correctly.
The protective functions are checked in the ignition key position "0" (ignition off), "1" (ignition off, steering column unlocked), "2" (ignition on) and "3" (engine start).
