Attention! Eliminate control malfunctions. When checking with a full load, pull the parking brake lever and depress the brake pedal. Due to the risk of overheating at full load, perform the test for no longer than 5 s. Enter a cooling pause. Only the main pressure is checked.
Remove cap 1.
Install oil pressure gauge KM-498-B 3 with adapter KM-580 2.
Check the transmission oil level.
Check main pressure.
Install plug 1 with a new seal on the gearbox, tightening torque - 8 Nm.
Check the transmission oil level.
Checking and adjusting the transmission oil level (AF13-II)
Measure the transmission oil temperature with the TECH 2.
Note. Before checking the oil level: let the engine idle with the gear lever in the «R». Move the lever once to all positions from «R» before «1» and back.
Note. Before checking the oil level and during it, the gear lever must be in position with the engine running «R».
Add gear oil to the correct upper mark.
With a cold gearbox (oil temperature is below +35°C for one minute of engine idling) the oil level will be correct if it is on the side of the dipstick where the symbol is «MIN +20°C», between the corresponding marks.
When the gearbox is warm (about 80°C, after the car has passed a section of about 20 km) the oil level will be correct if it is on the side of the dipstick where the symbol is «MAX +80°C», between the corresponding marks.
