Checking the gearshift lever position switch (AF13-II) (Opel Corsa C)

Checking the gearshift lever position switch (AF13-II)


Remove the wire harness connector holder 2.

Disconnect the gear shift lever position switch 1 harness connector.

Disconnect the gear shift lever position switch harness connector.

Install accessories KM-962-A 3 with KM-962-10.

Connect to the gear shift lever position switch harness connector.

Connect to the battery.

Check the operation and adjustment of the gear shift lever position switch.

Turn on the ignition.

Shift through all gears.

Note: For each gear, the LEDs corresponding to the marks on the pull-out chart should light up (the figure shows the check in the "N" position of the lever).

Adjust the gear shift cable system.

Adjust the gear shift lever position switch.

Check the operation of the electrical part of the gear shift lever position switch



Remove the KM-962-A fixtures from the KM-962-10.

Disconnect the gearshift lever position switch 1 from the wiring harness connector.

Disconnect from the battery.

Turn off the ignition.

Install the wire harness connector holder 2.

Tighten the wire harness connector retainer to 20 Nm.

Tighten the wire harness connector retainer to 20 Nm.


Connect and secure the gear shift lever position switch harness connector.
