Replacing the gearshift lever on the gearbox (Opel Insignia A)

1. Apply the parking brake and place wheel chocks under the wheels.

2. Remove the battery tray.

3. Disconnect the selector lever cable port (1) from the shift lever pin.



4. Press the locking tabs inward to release the selector lever cable (2) from the bracket.

5. Unscrew the nut (1) with the washer and remove the mode switching lever (2).



6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
