2. Unhook the bottom center trim (2) instrument panel from the floor console using a suitable plastic tool (3).
3. Unhook the adjusting clips (1) shift cables by pushing the black sliding ring to the locked position.
4. Unhook the left cable through the opening in the housing (arrow) with the right tool.
5. Move the boot of the gear lever up.
6. Press in two latches (arrows).
7. Slide the blue retaining ring (1) shift lever up.
8. Pull the latch (2) up.
9. To remove a knob of the lever of a gear change.
10. Flip the knob (1) gear lever 180°and install on the gear lever.
11. Press two pins (2) so that they go into two holes (3).
12. Remove the engine control unit from the battery shelf and set aside.
13. Fix the levers of the shift mechanism (2) using tool DT-527-A (1).
14. Lock the shift cable locks (1).
Note. When locking the shift cables, a characteristic locking sound should be heard.
15. Lock the adjusters (1), pressing the two blue locking elements without touching the shift lever lock.
16. Install the gear lever knob by turning it back 180°. Press the knob all the way down by pressing the latch (2) up.
17. Move the blue locking ring of the gear lever (1) down.
18. Remove tool DT-527-A from shift levers.
19. To check up correct functioning of a gear change.
20. If necessary, repeat the adjustment procedure.
21. Insert lower center trim (2) dashboard from the floor console.
