Removal



Place the gearshift lever in neutral, remove the console if equipped, and lift the protective cover.

Remove the retaining ring from the groove in the lever housing and remove the lever.

Installation



Lubricate the friction surfaces with bearing grease and secure the lever in the housing with a new retaining ring.

Lower the protective cover into place with the protrusion towards the front of the vehicle.

Install the console, if applicable.
