Loosen the clamp bolt on the gear shift rod and remove the adjustment hole plug.
Turn the gearshift rod to the left, looking in the direction of vehicle travel, so that a 5 mm diameter drill can be inserted into the adjustment hole until it stops.
At the same time, lift the protective cover and set the gear shift lever to the neutral position in the plane of shifting I-II gears. The thrust sleeve of the gear shift lever should touch the lever body without a gap. The central edge of the body should be located opposite the edge of the thrust sleeve.
While holding the parts in this position, tighten the clamp bolt on the gearshift rod, remove the drill from the adjustment hole and close the hole with a new plug.
Install the console in place, if applicable.
