



2. Use a magnet to remove the locking pins located between the holes in the leash roller (photo). There is no need to remove the end cap.

3. Use a screwdriver to pry out the gear shift lever shaft seal (photo).

4. Remove the retaining ring, then remove the rocker arm from inside the housing, noting the location of the gaskets.
5. Remove the roller bearing of the positioning mechanism using a suitable extractor (photo). If necessary, heat the bearing housing before removing.

6. Remove the outlet flange seal from the housing (photo).

7. Clean all components and replace as necessary.
8. Assemble in the following sequence. Insert the rocker arm together with the gaskets into the housing. Install the outer gaskets, then the retaining ring.
9. Install plungers, springs and caps. Use a mallet to drive the caps completely into the housing, making sure the springs are in the correct positions (photo).



10. Using a metal pipe, tap the roller bearing of the positioning mechanism into the housing. The groove under the bearing should fit into the recess in the housing.
11. Drive the new outlet flange seal into the housing (photo).

12. Press the new gearshift lever shaft seal into the housing.
