Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Remove the rear wheel (see «Wheel - replacement»).
3. Remove the brake drum (see «Rear brake drums - replacement»).
4. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the rolling fitting.
Warning! When performing the following operation, make sure that when unscrewing the fitting, the tube does not rotate with the fitting. If the tube «sour» in the fitting, replace it.
5. Using a special wrench for 10 mm pipe nuts, unscrew the fitting of the rear wheel brake pipe.
6. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the brake cylinder mounting bolt.
7. A little (for a couple of clicks) apply the handbrake, thereby slightly pushing the brake pads.
8. Remove the rear brake cylinder.
Warning! Do not depress the brake pedal with the brake cylinder removed.
Installation
1. Install the cylinder in reverse order.
2. We remove air from the hydraulic brake system (see «Hydraulic brake drive - pumping») and make sure that the connection between the brake pipe and the cylinder is tight.
