The necessity of performing this operation should be determined during the process of checking the technical condition of the brake system (see "Brake system - checking technical condition").
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the rear wheel (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. Remove the brake drum (see "Rear brake drums - replacement").
4. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the rolling nipple.

Warning! When performing the following operation, make sure that when unscrewing the nipple, the tube does not rotate together with the nipple. If the tube is "stuck" in the nipple, replace it.
5. Using a special 10 mm wrench for pipe fastening nuts, unscrew the rear wheel brake pipe fitting.

6. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the brake cylinder mounting bolt.

7. A little bit (in a couple of clicks) we tighten the handbrake, thereby slightly moving the brake pads apart.
8. Remove the rear brake cylinder.

Warning: Do not press the brake pedal when the brake cylinder is removed.
Installation
1. Install the cylinder in reverse order.
2. Remove air from the brake hydraulic system (see "Hydraulic brake drive - bleeding") and make sure that the connection between the brake pipe and the cylinder is tight.
