The replacement technology is the same for all brake pipes. The difference lies in the presence and number of additional elements for attaching tubes to the body (holders). The tubes leading to the rear wheels are additionally secured with holders, which are fastened with plastic clips.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the protective cover holder.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Using a slotted screwdriver, unscrew the latch and remove it.
5. Remove the holder.
6. Turn off the fittings for the tube that needs to be replaced. Procedures for unscrewing the fittings of the brake pipes from various components of the brake system are described in the relevant sections.
7. Remove the tube, removing it from the fasteners on the body (where are they available).
8. Install the brake pipe in reverse order.
9. Bleeding the brake system (see «Hydraulic brake drive - pumping») and make sure the connections of the new brake pipe are tight.
