Anti-lock braking system — check (Opel Zafira A)

            0

To monitor the status of the anti-lock braking system (ABS), a control lamp is installed on the instrument panel (see "Controls and instruments"). An ABS malfunction may be caused by a failure of the wheel speed sensors or a malfunction of the hydraulic valve block itself. When the ABS malfunction indicator lamp lights up, the brake system remains operational, but braking efficiency is reduced, which is especially dangerous on slippery surfaces. Therefore, if the lamp lights up, you must contact a service station as soon as possible for diagnostics and repairs.
