Warning! Brake discs are replaced in pairs, in both front wheel brakes at once.
Recommendation. We strongly recommend that you also replace the brake pads when replacing the brake discs.
Execution sequence
1. Remove the caliper from the brake disc without disconnecting the brake hose from it (see «Front brake pads - replacement»).
2. We fix the caliper so as not to damage the brake hose (for example, we tie it with wire to the rack spring).
3. On models with a removable shoe guide, use an 18 mm wrench to unscrew the two mounting bolts and remove it.
4. Using the TORX T30 key, we unscrew the screw securing the brake disc.
5. Remove the brake disc from the hub. If the brake disc cannot be removed, tap it with a hammer through a wooden spacer.
Warning! Hammer blows on the working surface of the disk are unacceptable!
6. We clean the disc seat on the hub from dirt and rust, lubricate it with a thin layer of grease.
7. Next, install all the removed parts in reverse order.
