Removing
1. Due to the design of the rear suspension on these models, both springs cannot be removed at the same time. Please note that the rear springs should be changed in pairs. When replacing springs, it is recommended to replace their rubber buffers at the same time.
2. On manual rear suspension models, depressurize the system by releasing the air through the valve in the luggage compartment.
3. Block the front wheels, then jack up and support the rear of the vehicle on axle stands.
4. Slightly raise the corresponding trailing arm using a jack.
5. Loosen and remove the bolt and washer securing the lower end of the shock absorber to the trailing arm and release the lower end of the shock absorber.
6. Gently lower the jack supporting the trailing arm and remove the spindle spring and rubber buffers. If necessary, move the trailing arm down slightly to remove the spring.
Installation
7. Install in reverse order, making sure the spring is installed correctly on the trailing arm and bottom.
8. Tighten the bolt of the lower mounting of the shock absorber with a tightening torque regulated specifications.
9. If springs are subject to replacement, repeat procedure on the opposite party of the car.
10. On models with manually controlled rear suspension stiffness, bring the pressure in the system to 0.8 bar.
