1. With the car completely unloaded, install a pressure gauge on the air valve and check that the pressure in the system is 0.8 bar. If not, adjust the pressure.
2. Make sure the car is not parked on a slope and measure the distance from the center of the rear bumper to the ground. Subtract 50.0 mm from the measured distance and write down the resulting value.
3. Load the vehicle and, if necessary, pressurize the system until the bumper rises to the height calculated in the previous paragraph. Do not raise the pressure above 5.0 bar.
4. After unloading the car, release the pressure in the system (but not less than 0.8 bar), to achieve the originally measured bumper height.
5. Do not operate an unladen vehicle without depressurizing the system.
