Removal
Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.
Remove the front wheel.
Loosen the nut, remove the washers and rubber bushings and disconnect the shock absorber from the body bracket.
If only the upper bushings need to be replaced, raise the vehicle slightly and pull the shock absorber down.
Loosen the nut, remove the lower shock absorber mounting bolt and remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.

Note: The lower shock absorber bushing is not supplied separately from the shock absorber.
Installation
Install the lower part of the shock absorber onto the lower arm and secure with the bolt and nut, without tightening them completely.
Warning! Do not lubricate the shock absorber mounting rubber bushings during installation.
Install the shock absorber rod into the body bracket and secure it with rubber bushings, washers and a nut, without tightening it completely.
Install the front wheel.
Lower the vehicle and tighten the shock absorber rod mounting nut to 20 N·m and the lower shock absorber mounting bolt to 93 N·m.
