Removal



Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.

Remove the lower engine compartment protection.

Disconnect the connector and vacuum hoses from the shift mechanism actuator.

Remove the plug and drain the oil from the shift mechanism drive housing while driving.

Remove 4 bolts and shift mechanism actuator from shift mechanism actuator housing while driving.

Remove 4 bolts and shift mechanism actuator from shift mechanism actuator housing while driving.


Installation



Apply a thin layer of sealant to the mating surfaces of the shift actuator and the shift housing while driving, then align the shift fork with the internal gear bushing, install the shift actuator and secure with 4 bolts, tightening them to a torque of 13 N·m.

Fill the gearshift housing with oil while driving until the oil level reaches the bottom edge of the filler hole, then screw in the plug and tighten it to a torque of 78 N·m.

Connect the connector and vacuum hoses to the shift mechanism actuator.



Install the lower engine compartment protection.

Lower the car.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
