Removal
Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.
Remove the front wheel.
Remove the lower engine compartment protection.
Remove the cotter pin, unscrew the nut and use a suitable puller to remove the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle.

Unscrew the 4 nuts, remove the 4 bolts and remove the ball joint from the lower arm of the front suspension.

Note: New ball joints are filled with lubricant.
Installation
Install the ball joint onto the lower arm of the front suspension and secure it with bolts and nuts, tightening it to a torque of 116 N·m. Make sure that the dust cover (arrow) is correctly secured around the ball joint housing.

Install the lower ball joint onto the steering knuckle. Tighten the lower ball joint pin mounting nut to a torque of 147 N·m and turn it until the first alignment of the locking hole with the slot in the crown nut. Install a new cotter pin.
Install the front wheel.
Install the lower engine compartment protection.
Lower the car.
