Warning! Before starting work, set the drive mode to 2H.


Removal



Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.

Remove the front wheel from the corresponding side.

Remove the 2 caliper mounting bolts, lift the caliper up and secure it to the front suspension strut with soft wire.

Remove 6 bolts (1) and remove the cover from the wheel hub.

Remove the retaining (1) and adjusting (2) rings for fastening the drive flange (3) of the hub from the drive shaft.

Remove the hub drive flange from the drive shaft.

Remove the hub drive flange from the drive shaft.





Installation



Apply a bead of sealant (arrows) to the mating surfaces of the hub and hub drive flange.

Apply a bead of sealant (arrows) to the mating surfaces of the hub and hub drive flange.


Install the hub drive flange onto the drive shaft.

Install the adjusting and retaining rings onto the drive shaft.

Install the adjusting and retaining rings onto the drive shaft.


Check the clearance between the hub drive flange and the drive shaft retaining ring. If necessary, select an adjusting ring of such thickness that the gap is within 0-0.3 mm.

Note: Adjusting rings are available in thicknesses of 0.2, 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0 mm.


Install the cover onto the hub drive flange and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 59 N·m.
