Checking the tension of the accessory drive belt (Opel Insignia A)

The inspection procedure includes checking the operation of the automatic tensioner, as well as a visual inspection of the belt itself and associated components.

Move the belt tensioner so that the cast projection (1) moves in the direction of the arrow (counterclockwise), then slowly release. The tensioner should return to its original position.
