Adjusting the tension of the generator drive V-belt (Opel Kadett E)

To check the tension, you can use the Opel KM 128 device. The tension should be within 25-30 kgf for a worn belt (in no case less than 25 kgf) and 45 kgf for a new belt.

If the values do not match the specified ones, loosen the nut securing the generator to the tension bar, adjust the belt tension and tighten the tension bar nut.
