Starter specifications (Opel Kadett E)

The cars were equipped with a Bosch or Delco-Remy starter, which is a four-pole DC electric motor with series excitation. The starter has a nine-tooth drive pinion, a two-winding traction relay and a drive lever. The armature shaft rotates in bushings installed in the starter covers. The drive pinion tooth module is 2.117/1.814. The direction of rotation is right (if you look from the drive side).
