Removal and installation the front control arm of the independent suspension (Opel Corsa C)

Removal

Remove the front wheel.

Mark the position relative to the wheel hub.

Remove the guide joint from the steering knuckle.



Remove screw 1.

Remove the control arm from the front axle housing at the front and rear.

Unscrew the screw and nut 3.

Remove screw 2.

Installation

Install the independent suspension arm to the front axle housing at the front and rear.

Tighten the screw and nut loosely.

Tighten screw 2 loosely.

Install the guide joint onto the steering knuckle.

Tighten the new nut to 60 Nm.



Secure the independent suspension arm to the front axle housing at the front and rear.





Tighten the screw with nut 3 90 Nm + 75° + 15°.

Loosely tighten screw 2 90 Nm + 75° + 15°.

Install the front wheel.
