Removal and installation the rear stabilizer (Opel Corsa C)

Removal



Remove the 2 rear wheels.

Note: Mark the position relative to the drum hub.


Remove 2 screws 1 securing the stabilizer on the rear axle.

Note: Make sure to maintain the correct position of the mounting screws.

Remove stabilizer 3 from the rear axle.

Using a soft metal mandrel, press the stabilizer 2 away from the rear axle on one side.

Remove the stabilizer from the rear axle and put it away through the side.

Remove buffer 4 from the stabilizer.

Installation



Install stabilizer 3 on the rear axle.

Slide the stabilizer into the rear axle from the side.

Move buffer 4 onto the stabilizer.

Press the stabilizer with a soft metal mandrel 2 to the installed position in the rear axle.

Install the stabilizer with 2 screws and nut 1 on the rear axle.

Note: Pay attention to the installed position of the mounting screws. The screws are installed from the bottom up on the rear axle.

Tighten 2 new screws 1 to 60 Nm + 15°.

Install 2 rear wheels - 110 Nm.

Note: Observe the position of the marking.
