Removing
1. Raise the appropriate rear suspension arm to reduce shock load.
2. Remove the carpet or trim panel and loosen the top shock mount nuts.
3. On models with height adjustable rear suspension, open the valve on the side of the shock absorber and release the pressure. Disconnect the hydraulic tube from the shock absorber.
4. Lower the suspension arm, unscrew the lower mounting bolt.
5. Remove shock absorber.
6. Inspect the shock absorber for wear or damage.
7. Check the rubber fasteners.
8. Replace failed elements.
9. Check the operation of the shock absorber and replace it if necessary.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
