Front suspension cross member (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Remove the protective panel from underneath the engine.

2. Disconnect the ball joints of the suspension arms from the steering knuckles.

3. Disconnect the connecting links from the anti-roll bar.

4. Remove the nuts securing both engine mounts to the crossmember and mounting brackets.

5. Remove the engine vibration damper if necessary.

6. Place the hoist on top of the engine and tighten the hoist winch to support the weight of the engine.

7. Mark the installation position of the front suspension cross member.

8. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the crossbar.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
