Front wheel hub and bearings (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Loosen the hub mounting nut.

2. Remove the brake caliper and brake disc.



3. Unscrew the fastening nut.



4. Remove the mounting nut.



5. Remove the hub from the steering knuckle.

Installation

1. The hub bearings cannot be replaced separately. If the bearings are worn or damaged, the entire hub must be replaced.

2. The hub is installed in the reverse order of removal.



3. Carefully tap the hub onto the steering knuckle using a suitable tapping tool.



4. Secure the hub.
