Removal



Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system (see the relevant chapter).

Remove the heater unit (see the relevant chapter).

Disconnect the air duct (1) from the heater unit.

Disconnect the air flow distribution mode selection unit (2) from the air temperature control unit (3), but do not disconnect the linkage unit at this stage.

Separate the two sections of the air temperature control unit housing and remove the heater radiator (1).

Use a screwdriver to lift the latch and remove the air flow distribution mode selection flap.



Use a screwdriver to lift the latch and remove the air flow distribution mode selection flap.


Installation



Install the air flow distribution mode selection flap.

Install the heater radiator and connect the two sections of the air temperature control unit housing.

Connect the air temperature control unit to the air flow distribution mode selection unit.

Connect the air duct to the heater unit.

Install the heater unit (see the relevant chapter).

Fill the engine cooling system with coolant (see the relevant chapter).

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
