Removal



Removal


1. In the engine compartment, pinch the coolant supply hoses to the heater radiator.

2. On 2.0L diesel engines, disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.

4. Disconnect the coolant supply hoses from the heater radiator fittings by pressing on the pipe and moving the locking ring.

5. Close the hose connections with plugs (the locations of the plugs are indicated by arrows).

9. Unscrew the screw securing the air supply pipe.

13. Remove the heater radiator cap.

14. Remove the heater core from the housing. On models with air conditioning, move the heater core to the right before removing it.

Installation



Installation


Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. If the heater radiator cover fastening brackets are broken, drill four holes in the cover and secure it with self-tapping screws. Before installing the cover, press the heater radiator firmly into the casing. Add coolant to the cooling system.
