When impurities such as dirt, air or moisture enter the air conditioning system, they change the cooling stability and degrade the properties of the compressor oil. They also affect the pressure and temperature in the system, reduce its operating efficiency and lead to internal corrosion and abnormal wear of moving elements.
To maintain chemical stability in your air conditioning system, follow these steps:
- Before disconnecting the system circuit, clean the connection point and the area around it from dirt and oil;
- After disconnecting the system components, seal the open connections as soon as possible with plugs or tape to prevent dirt, air or oil from entering the system;
- Keep all working tools in a dry, clean place;
- Keep compressor oil in a clean, sealed container;
- Before disconnecting the air conditioning system components, it is necessary to prepare the tools and equipment for servicing the system in such a way as to leave the system components disconnected for the shortest possible time;
- When installing new air conditioning components, remove them from their packaging immediately prior to installation;
- After opening the air conditioning system circuit, evacuate the air and charge the system with refrigerant.
