1. To raise or lower this type of hatch (installed as additional equipment), rotate the control knob.
2. To remove the hatch cover, set it to the closed position, and then use a coin to loosen the screw located in the center of the control handle.
3. Lift the hatch panel slightly and press the release lever to release the safety latch (see Figure 11.62).

4. Working from the outside of the vehicle, place a support under the sunroof panel and remove it from the mountings located at the front edge.
5. Turn the control handle to the fully closed position.
6. There is a special bag for the hatch cover on the rear surface of the rear seat back. Place the glass panel of the sunroof into it so that its curved surface faces the back of the seat and the hinge tabs point downwards (see Figure 11.63).

7. To reinstall the hatch cover, set the control handle to the "open" position and attach the panel to the fasteners and safety latch.
